The Details

We spend a lot of time in meetings, but is that time well spent? From unclear agendas, to the same people always talking, to poor time management, to leaving without clear next steps, these problems are all too common. We can do better. In this 2-hour workshop, participants learn strategies to improve collaboration, trust, and productivity in their 1:1, team, and org meetings.

This workshop will cover two communication principles:

Make the Implicit, Explicit (40 minutes)

• Gain a tool to test if your meeting is needed and clearly communicated

• Create specific calendar invites

• Learn how to start and end the meeting effectively  

Prioritize Inclusion (40 minutes)

• Meeting hosts: Gain techniques that elicit participation from all attendees

• Meeting attendees: Practice a framework to succinctly share your viewpoint
